This is Ren and he is inspired to the yokai Kappa, a human-like creature similar to a turtle.
This is Taro and he is inspired to the yokai Oni, a red ogre.
This is Kiyoshi and he is inspired to the yokai Tengu, human-like creature often depicted with wings and a long nose
This is Nia and she is inspired to the yokai Futakuchi Onna, a female demon who's got a second mouth on the back of her head.
